Besides his political and spiritual leadership, he was an educator and professor. He instructed the Israelites in the Law of their God and the way of the Lord.
In his faith and determination, Joshua continued the struggle to bring his people to the Promised Land and it was a struggle that was only completed after his death. His faith in God, his tireless leadership, and his military prowess enabled him to lead the Israelites to their victory over both Jericho and the land of Canaan.
Temperament

“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.”
