Appearance
The Bible has a few direct descriptions of heaven. In the book of Revelation, heaven is described as a perfect and undefiled city with walls of jasper, foundations of precious stones, and a jasper sea. Heaven is a place of multicolored lights emanating from the wall, where angels surround God and worship Him. In Luke, heaven is described as a place of white robes, and of men who have loved and been forgiven, where they are received and led into the light.
In Isaiah, heaven is described as a place where God and His angels will come down and live among men. Heaven is also seen as a city on a hill, where the sun and moon will always rise and never set. It is seen as a place of peace and joy, where tears will be wiped away and all the former troubles of this life will be forgotten.
Worship
