What Does The Bible Say About Rapture?
The Bible states that a rapture will occur after the tribulation. The term ‘tribulation’ is used to describe the period of time where God’s enemies will attack the righteous to an extent described in the Bible. They point to verses such as Daniel 9:27 which states that a “prince” will make a covenant with Israel for seven years, after which he will break the covenant and begin his campaign of persecution. This “prince” is identified as the Antichrist, and his seven years of rule is referred to as the seven-year Tribulation period. Mid-tribulation Rapture believers believe that the Rapture will occur at the midpoint of this period, when the Antichrist breaks the covenant.
