According to Jeremiah 29:11, hope does not disappoint because it gives us vision and guidance for the future, one that is focused on eternal life.
For believers, faith must accompany hope. Faith energizes what hope holds in the imagination, allowing to strive for a goal without fear of failure. The Bible teaches that faith is more powerful than anything else, and it overrules the sense of ataraxia, or the absence of fear, providing courage when life is hard (Hebrews 11: 1).
As believers, our hope should always be in Jesus. The Bible says that when Jesus returns, He will bring restoration, healing, and peace (John 14:27). The entire universe will be renewed, and all creation will live together in harmony.
