Ephesians is a New Testament book that is full of Paul’s biblical teaching on how Christians are to live. In this book, Paul writes to the believers in Ephesus to encourage them to live lives that are worthy of the calling they have received. He teaches them that they are to be united in love, always working towards unity and peace. Christ is at the center of everything and Paul urges the believers to live their lives in a way that honors Him.

The Bible book of Ephesians is about how the scattered believers in Jesus Christ are brought together in one body by the risen Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, slave nor free, male nor female, but all are one in Christ. This unity is to be maintained by walking in love as Christ has loved us and sacrificed Himself for us. We are to put away all sinful behavior and live righteously and holy lives, prepared to do good works that God has prepared in advance for us to do.

What was Ephesians written about?

Christ has reconciled all creation to himself and to God. This is the overarching theme of Ephesians. Christ has united people from all nations to himself and to one another in his church. Christians must live as new people.

It is so easy to get caught up in the things of this world and forget what our ultimate hope is. We are reminded in Ephesians that our hope is in Christ alone. We need to depend on him to deliver us from this world and into eternal life.
