The Book of Jeremiah is the second of the Latter Prophets in the Hebrew Bible, and the second of the Prophets in the Christian Old Testament. Jeremiah is believed to be a prophet who was active during the reign of King Zedekiah of Judah.<\/p>\n

It is interesting to note that while Habakkuk 3:3 speaks of God coming from Teman, Moses wrote that God came from Sinai. This would suggest that there are different ways in which God can manifest Himself.<\/p>\n

Eliphaz the Temanite is one of the protagonists in the book of Job. He is also mentioned in Genesis 36 as Husham of the land of the Temanites. Outside of the Bible, Eliphaz is mentioned by Ptolemy, Pliny, Agatharchides, and Josephus. He is noted as being halfway between Damascus and Mecca, and between Babylonia and Egypt.<\/p>\n
